伝統的な型染めや手染めでオリジナルファブリックを作り服やものづくりを手仕事で行っています。
自然の色彩やカタチ、日常の風景や、旅、ことばからインスピレーションを得てデザインしています。
手仕事の温もりが人から人へ伝わるものづくりを心掛けています。
大切に作られたものは日々の暮らしを豊かにする。詩や物語のようなファブリックを誰かのもとにお届けしたい。そんな願いを込めて。
ものづくりの楽しさや伝統の染めを伝えるため、子ども造形ワークショップや型染めワークショップも随時開催しています。
some:teco is a dyed textile brand.
We create original fabrics using traditional stencil dyeing and hand-dyeing, and make our clothes and products by hand.
Our designs are inspired by the colors and shapes of nature, everyday scenes, travel, and words.
I try to make things that convey the warmth of handwork from person to person.
Things that are made with care enrich our daily lives.
We would like to deliver fabrics that are like poems and stories to someone.
With this wish in mind.
In order to convey the joy of craftsmanship and traditional dyeing, we also hold workshops on children's modeling and stencil dyeing.

型染めなどの伝統的な染色技法や日本画の画材である顔彩を使って図案を描き、テキスタイルを制作しています。自然や生き物、いつか見た景色など記憶の中にある風景を図案化しています。どこか懐かしく親しみやすい、けれど見たこともないユニークな表現が生まれることを目指して制作しています。誰かの日常に寄り添い、楽しく彩るテキスタイルをお届けしたいと思っています。

型染めとは？
「型染め」とは鎌倉時代から続く伝統的な染色技法の一つです。
最初に型紙を図案を元に模様を切り抜きます。
型紙の上にもち米と糠を合わせた糊を均一に乗せます。
これは「防染」といって糊を置いたところには染料が染み込まないようにするためです。
「地入れ」という滲みどめの工程を経て、染料で染めていきます。
定着の処理後に、糊を水で洗い流すと模様が現れるという技法です。
分業で行われてきた型染めの制作を、デザインから型紙制作、染色、販売まで一貫して行なっています。
What is Katazome?
"Katazome" is a traditional dyeing technique that has been used since the Kamakura period (1185-1333).
First, a pattern is cut out of a paper pattern based on a design.
Glutinous rice glue made from glutinous rice and rice bran is evenly applied to the paper pattern.
This is called "bousouzome" (preventing dyes from seeping into the area where the glue is placed).
After the "Jiire" process, which is a process to prevent staining, the dye is applied to the paper.
After the fixing process, the glue is washed away with water to reveal the pattern.
The production of Katazome, which has been carried out by the division of labor, is now carried out in an integrated manner, from design to pattern making, dyeing, and sales.
